HOURS OF WORK:
Weekday and weekend coverage
The incumbent will function as a member of an interdisciplinary team to provide assessment, treatment and management of patients within acute care and rehab settings.
The successful candidate will attend multidisciplinary meetings to provide analysis /progress on the client’s rehabilitation and discharge plan.
The incumbent will support the continuity of care by providing coverage for vacation, illness or short term vacancies.
All part-time staff are required to provide 45 hours of availability per 2 weeks.
Contributes to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.
• Current registration with College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• Membership in CAOT or OSOT is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
• Experience in acute care is an asset
• Good attendance record
